Salesforce to Establish its First-Ever AI Hub in London
The tech giant Salesforce eyes London, one of the major tech-focused cities in the world, as a foreground to establish its first substantial AI center. The hub is proposed to be established in Southwark Blue Fin Building, expanding upto 40,000 square meters with the capacity to accommodate 300+ individuals.
The Artificial Intelligence hub will be used as an all-in-one square for holding conferences, jobs, educational lectures, and partnership workshops. The company foresees the center holding AI training and skill learning programs.
Salesforce, the USA’s prominent tech leader and number one CRM development company, is ready to compete in the artificial intelligence sector by establishing an exclusive work center in UK. The company looks forward to utilizing the center as a collaborative space for its different projects, holding client meetings, and joining hands with other tech companies.
The $240 billion company made the announcement during the high-profile Salesforce World Tour event at London’s Excel venue. Zahra Bahrololoumi, Salesforce’s Executive Director for the region, will supervise operations and provide complimentary training to 100 developers at the official launch of the center on June 18. According to her, Salesforce looks forward to supporting UK and Ireland businesses with the AI hub with the vision of building more global centers.
“This AI center will provide a space to enhance our potential and conjoint with other world leaders. Its establishment is a clear call for partnerships and collaboration as this transformative technology focuses on a better future for the industry.” Said Ms. Bahrololoum
Recently, a survey by London & partners found that 77% of global business leaders consider London the best ground for developing AI programs. Salesforce, after the announcement of the AI center, has made its name among the major tech companies investing in London. Last year, OpenAI opened its tech center while Microsoft and Meta are also creating AI hubs and conducting recruitment drives in the capital city.
The Southwark AI project is part of a $4 billion investment plan Salesforce has for the UK. The tech giant looks at it as the future of millions of AI-based jobs in the country.
